Government Insulation Rebates


We are an approved Insulation installer for the Australian Government Insulation Rebate Scheme.

 
The Australian Governments has introduced a $3.9 billion Energy Efficient Home Package aiming to make homes more comfortable and saving up to 40% on electricity bills.

The Home Owner Insulation Program

Assistance up to $1600 is available to help owner occupiers install ceiling insulation, which can save approx. $200 each year on Electricity Costs.

The assistance program will run from the 3rd of Ferbruary 2009 until December 2011.

Insulation is the simplest, most effective and cheapest way to make your house more energy efficient. You can save 40% on heating and cooling bills. Insulation can also reduce condensation on walls and ceilings to improve health outcomes.

To qualify for the Australian Government Insulation Rebate you must conform to the following conditions:


Owner occupier (over 18 years).
The owner must be Australian permanent resident.
The owner requires 2 quotes from registered businesses.
Keep the invoice and submit it to the claims department showing it has been paid.
Expect your refund to take about 8 weeks from Lodgement.

Ceiling Insulation for Rental Properties

Landlords and tenants (with landlord permission) are eligible for a rebate of up to $1,000 to install ceiling insulation in their rental properties under the Low Emissions Assistance Plan for Renters.
